The "Good", the "Best", and the "Amazing"!

For today's blog I will be giving an overview of my top three blog post from good to the amazing. My About Me is the blog I consider to be good. I think this is a good blog because I did a "good" job of describing myself in a short but sweet little post. I hit all the highlights about myself and gave a good look into my life. In my blog I named a couple people that have impacted my life and also changed my life and made me the person that I am today. Without them I would be a totally different person. My friends and family are the most important people in my life and weather or not they know it they are helping me reach my goals and have will help me succeed in the future.

The next blog is do you want a job or a career and it is my "Best". The reason I like this one is because this is something that I want. There are things in life that I want and one of them is a career not just any old job. People don't normally think about the difference between the two so I decided to give my take one each one. Another reason that I think it is the best is because people can relate to it. Things that people can read and then also relate to interest them and also might want to make them read more blogs because they like what you have to say. Next the thing I like most about this post is the idea that I have that colleges should help their students after they graduate in terms of getting a job. I think that I proposed a good idea that could potentially help college students get a job.

The last blog post and the most "Amazing" blog post that I think I had this semester was the change in education. Through out high school I can't even tell you how many time I heard someone "how is this going to help us in the real life?" and the teacher would always give the same old answer on some made up way that it was going to help. So I got to thinking that education needed to catch up with the changing world. Technology is making the world a whole different place but education still hasn't change in a very very long time. If education where to change the same way technology has kids would be better off in the future.

College is calling for me. Is it calling for you?

For me the question was never "Why college?”, but rather "Which college?"  But now I know what I am doing here. I always knew that my career options and financial potential would be very limited without a college education. But as of yesterday I have figured out my calling. My goal was to become a communication major and go work for TV. But I don't think that, that is going to be enough for me. I want to do something that is going to make a difference in the world. One thing that I am very passionate about is politics and how we can fix this country and get people back on their feet and to keep us as the best country in the world. We live in the greatest country in the world and the thing that makes us great is that there are an unlimited amount of options for us. You can do anything that you put your mind to as long as you work hard to get there. College is good for fine tuning your skills so that when you join the workforce you will be able to get the best job that you can.

When you are in high school you are learning an array topics and some if not most you will probably never use. So college is good for picking that one thing that you are passionate about and focusing your time to perfect those skills that are needed. In high school it is very easy to make social groups because you have been going to school with the same people since you were little so everyone knows everybody. College takes your social skills to an all new level. You have to go out on your own to meet new people and make new friends. It helps you step out of your comfort zone and get you prepare for the real world. No one is there to hold your hand anymore.
So I chose to go to college and get a degree to better my future. Although I am just a freshman and things can change in my life at the drop of a hat I know that college is the only thing that is going to get me where I want to be. For me it has always been my goal to go to The University of Georgia and that will be my next goal. As long as I work hard and keep doing what I'm doing I have no doubt in my mind that I can make it there. I kind of slacked off in high school and didn't apply myself they way I should have. So if I could give any advice to high school students it would be that high school is not a joke there is more to high school than just being popular. College will open up a whole new world for you and can make you a better person as long as you let it. College can teach you so many things that you proabably never even thought about. But you have to want to go to college to make it beneficial to you.

But there are bad things about college too...
